Here's a little Something Old Something New for ya'll. Mono here is one of my ancient characters, dating way back to the time of Sonic the Hedghog Fancharacters. You see, he used to be a red rabbit/echidna (His full name was Monopordae Pikna Haridna, a "clever" mixture of the latin names of different kinds of rabits an echidnas) and I used to draw him religiously. When my art shifted focus, I dropped him all together, but I always felt a bit bad about that. I have a soft spot for him, I do.
One of the reasons I have so many musical band characters is because that's how I listen to music. When I'm listening I like to imagine music videos or live performances of the songs if they were performed in my Skin Deep world (Shutup it's stupid but that's what I like to do). He always ended up as the singer for when I listened to my big band/swing music, and that's what he is now. I've changed him into a Jackelope (WHICH MAY BE A MISTAKE. OY, THOSE HORNS ARE HARD TO DRAW) and that's how he remains now.
The faun, on the other hand, is brand new to my little world. She's a spawn from that Faun/Satyr coloring page I did. I liked them so much I decided to do a grown up version of one and name her Margot for no particular reason. I imagine her to be the female voice to Mono's lead. And maybe she'll play the bass or guitar. She's cool like that.
I have no last names for either of them. And you know what this means, right? I may have to create another band.
