Hey guys sorry this page wasn't up at midnight, but I was not awake at midnight! Oh snap, my indie cred! Who is this grandma going to bed so early? Never fear though, if there is comic to be had it will be up at the mainsite no matter what. So if you need your Skin Deep fix between the hours of Midnight and 8 am Central time you'll probably have to go there instead!

Look at that! The dragon finally has a name! His name is actually an obscure science fiction reference, do you know what it is?

Also another heads up: I might be switching up my update schedule from Tuesday/Thursday to Monday/Friday, so I can have an extra day during the week to get the second page done. So if there's no comic on Thursday you'll know why.

Blood Carvers were an almost insect-like alien race native to Batorine.

Er.. :ahem: I love the expression work you've done there on Mr. Carver. Now maybe it's just me, but I'm thinking now would be a really good time to work on that two-legged form, or even just go human to get her center of gravity back. Then at least she could walk, but how she'd get down the cliff alive is beyond me.
Plus Mr. Carver told her not to escape. Musn't disobey and all.

I like that all of this is taking place inside a SPOOOOoooOOOKY cave. Not enough comics have scenes that take place in caves, is what I'm tryin' to lay down here.

Also glowing eyes, man. I dig 'em.
