In Skin Deep, what is a Glaistig? I looked it up and as far as I could find they are just female satyrs.

And what is a Borz? I looked it up too and all I could find is that it means "wolf." Are they just wolf men/were-wolves?

Glaistigs are more than "just female satyrs"! They may look a little like satyrs but they are very vocal that they are not satyrs. : )

And Chechen wolves are mythical wolves that represent the Chechen people. They aren't werewolves. : )

I love the use of more obscure creatures, too. It's fun looking up who's what and finding out their mythology.
